As a kid I was always fascinated by the question of the lost princess, the lost empire and all the secrets behind the now solved mystery. I loved how the Tsarists society was portrayed and the honor and excitement that came with the thought of being a part of it. I wanted to escape with the Russian circus or/and become a Russian spy for the sake of the rightist leaders. Mainly, the dream was to become a ballet dancer, honored and cherished enough to be able to dance at the Ballets Russes (The Russian Ballets).
Russian based names was the most beautiful I've ever heard, the language was magic and the culture and history was the one worth to retain.
So for me has Russia always been a connection to and 'prove' of success.
Now when I'm in the middle my studies with IB, I analyse the movie, I've never done that, and it allows me to see that; my dreams, ideas and interest have mainly been based on this movie.
It's all based on a fairy tale?
