Get the the look: the Ballerina bun

The number one hairstyle we never grow tired of, the ballerina bun. Here is a tip to get the ultimate bun, precisely as you want it whether it is for you everyday usage or a special event!

Just like every hair-setups, this works better of you don't wash your hair right before the setup. If you do it anyway so use salt water spray, mousse or such so your hair gets this firmness.

The way to do it:
  1. Put your hair in a ponytail where about you want it. Up high for a more formal look and a bit low for a casual, chill, everyday look.
  2. Get one of those 'hair-donuts' and thread your hair through it, all the way to your scalp, so that the donut is surrounding the rubber band. The bun will look so much better with the donut.
  3. Separate the ponytail and take wisps of hair all over until it it covering the donut. If you have thin hair like me, tease it a bit before separating the hair.
  4. Shoulder length should be long enough to attach the hair in hairpins right under the hair-donut. If you have longer hair then you can, after attaching the hairpins, twist it around the donut and finally attach with a band or a tuft.
Tadaaa your own special ballerina bun.
